Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your email address and password (passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text).
• Your username, display name and optional profile photo.
• The text posts, replies, groups, friend connections and blocks you create.
• Basic technical data needed to serve the site, such as your request logs.

What we do not collect

No location tracking, no advertising identifiers, no third-party ad networks, no selling of personal data, and no image uploads other than the profile photo you choose.

How we use it

Only to run the service: show your posts, sign you in, deliver password recovery emails, enforce our rules and handle reports of abusive content.

Who can see your content

Posts on the main feed are public. Posts inside a group are visible only to approved members of that group. Your email address is never shown to other users.

Storage and processors

Data is stored in our managed cloud database and served through our hosting provider. These providers process data on our behalf only.

Your rights

You can edit your profile at any time, and you can permanently delete your account and all of your posts from Settings. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. You can also request a copy of your data by contacting us.

Children

webbtext is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). Accounts found to belong to under-age users are removed.
